Warranty Policy
MelonFrame Warranty Policy
Last Updated: 18.05.2026
We want you to enjoy your MelonFrame with confidence. To ensure you are fully protected, we offer both our own commercial warranty and full compliance with your local statutory rights.
1. Statutory Legal Warranty (Consumer Rights)
Nothing in this policy excludes, limits, or suspends any mandatory consumer rights that apply under your local law.
For consumer purchases, MelonFrame is covered by applicable legal statutory warranty rights. For consumers in the EU, UK, and Switzerland, this includes a minimum 2-year legal guarantee against manufacturing defects and non-conformities that existed at the time of delivery. Depending on the circumstances and applicable law, your statutory remedies may include repair, replacement, price reduction, or refund.
2. MelonFrame 1-Year Limited Commercial Warranty
In addition to your statutory rights, Melon Automation GmbH offers a voluntary 1-Year Limited Warranty on the MelonFrame.
-
Coverage: This warranty covers defects in materials and workmanship under normal consumer use for a period of one (1) year from the date of original delivery.
-
Remedy: Under this commercial warranty, we will, at our discretion, repair the defective product, replace it with a new or refurbished unit, or issue a refund.
3. What is NOT Covered
Whether under statutory or commercial warranty, our policy does not cover:
-
Normal wear and tear.
-
Damage caused by misuse, accidents (e.g., dropping the frame), or improper handling.
-
Damage from unauthorized modifications, repairs, or use of third-party accessories/power supplies not approved by us.
-
Damage from exposure to liquids or extreme environmental conditions outside the product's specified operating guidelines.
4. Software and OTA Updates
We provide over-the-air (OTA) software updates to improve functionality, security, compatibility, and stability, and to fix software issues where possible. Such updates are offered in addition to your statutory rights to keep the product in conformity, and do not replace, limit, or reduce any legal warranty or consumer protection rights available to you.
